Gemma Crosby

Gemma Crosby is an Economist at the Department of Treasury and Finance in Victoria and a Campaign Manager at Raise our Voice Australia (ROVA).

After completing a Bachelor of Global Studies and Commerce, Gemma begun her role as an economist with the Victorian Government, and has worked across a range of policy areas, including environment, resources and decarbonisation and early intervention and reform.

She is passionate about the role of community building in achieving social change and has worked across a range of campaigns over the past five years. This includes previously managing a campaign that raised funds and awareness for equal access to education for asylum seeker students. She is currently volunteering at ROVA where she manages a team of volunteers as Head of the Raise Our Voice in Parliament Campaign.

Gemma has extensive experience amplifying the voices of young people, including through her work with the Victorian Youth Parliament. In this role she supported groups of young people across the state to advocate to key stakeholders for change on issues such as economic inequality, mental health services and justice system reform.
