Sadhana Subramaniam

Sadhana Subramaniam is an Emmy nominated documentary director. Her debut documentary, India’s Forbidden Love, which was nominated for the International Emmy, tells a terrifying story of a young girl’s fight for justice after her husband fell victim to honour killings and caste brutality in India.
Sadhana has a keen interest in telling the stories of human condition caught up in the mire of politics and violence. Her belief in the power of story telling as an agent of change in the society has been instrumental in all her outreach efforts. Sadhana has worked on various journalistic projects for the BBC, Al Jazeera, and Channel 4.
