Sam Riordan

Sam Riordan is a foreign affairs adviser to the Hon Julie Bishop MP, Deputy Leader of the Opposition and Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade. He has previously worked for Emeritus Professor Peter Drysdale at the Crawford School of Economics and Government at the Australian National University and for former Senator Russell Trood, Chair of the Senate Foreign Affairs, Defenceand Trade References Committee. Sam has served as an executive member of the Australian Institute of International Affairs and the Australian American Association in Canberra.

He is a former recipient of the Australian American Association Scholarship, and participant in the Australia America Young Leadership Dialogue and the Lowy Institute for International Policy Youth Leadership Conference.
