Nigel Freitas is a reporter and presenter for the Sky News Business channel. Nigel has worked in both Melbourne and Sydney covering business and general news stories. He anchors the weekly program. “Technology Behind Business” focusing on the latest trends shaping the industry. He’s interviewed some of the biggest names in technology globally, covered the rollout of the NBN locally and regularly attends industry forums both in Australia and overseas. Nigel started his career as a management consultant working across the banking, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.

He holds a Bachelor of Business & Technology, has qualifications in journalism and is currently completing an MBA. When he’s not on-air, Nigel is usually watching cricket, eating Goan food or playing with the latest gadgets.
