Rohit Shawarikar
Rohit is a Consultant with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and a core member of Technology Advantage practice for Asia-Pacific. In this role, he works closely with large organizations in the region to solve their technology challenges and identify new opportunities for growth. His expertise lies in development of online/digital solutions, IT operations improvements and technology transformation programs. Through his work with some of the world’s leading telcos, financial services, industrial goods and social sector organisations, Rohit has developed an understanding of cutting edge technologies and their ability to create new business opportunities as well as drive social impact. Recently, he worked in a team supporting the National Broadband Network Rollout in Australia, a $35bn government initiative to bring superfast broadband connectivity to every Australian household. He has also led technology research collaborations involving leading universities, government agencies and businesses from India and Australia to develop innovative digital solutions.
Rohit is an MBA from the University of Oxford, where he was the Co-chair for Oxford Business Network for Technology. He enjoys playing squash and has played for Melbourne sports & Aquatic centre (MSAC) & Green Templeton College at Oxford in various tournaments.
