Shilpa Dhamija

Shilpa Dhamija is the founder of LuxuryVolt, one of southeast Asia’s most influential luxury lifestyle editorial startups. LuxuryVolt also maintains presence in popular offline mediums like The Telegraph, The Hindu Business Line and Hello! Magazine, with luxury trend reports and expert opinion articles.

Shilpa completed a long stint with NDTV, India’s most respected English news channel, before venturing on the LuxuryVolt journey. She is also a gadget and consumer technology reviewer, who produced and directed a tech show, which during her stint became the highest rated ‘tech show’ in the history of Indian Television.

Shilpa’s work as a TV journalist started with CNBC TV 18 and CNN-IBN, the former Indian partner of CNN, where she covered politics, business, crime beats. She has also worked with the Times of India newspaper, prior to her job at this network.

As an AIYD 2017 delegate, she hopes to encourage the growth of young entrepreneurs and initiatives to promote tourism & culture between India and Australia.
