Anand Shriram

Anand Shriram is Vice President at Shriram Farm Solutions, a leading Agri inputs player in India and part of the DCM Shriram Ltd. Group. Anand is a fifth-generation family member to join the company. Currently responsible for exploring growth opportunities and drawing a road map for its crop care and specialty fertilizer businesses, he is also leading the Agri tech initiatives of the group.
Prior to joining the Agri-Business, Anand spent time in the company’s Plastics and Chloro vinyl businesses where he played a key role in strengthening the business, holding various functional roles and positions. He subsequently moved to the value-added business of the group, Fenesta Building Systems as Business Development Manager. He helped revamp the sales structure and worked with the senior team to develop a new model for the organization. He has played an active role in sales and marketing resulting in strengthening of the Fenesta brand.
Anand has attended various training and management development programs in India and abroad. He enjoys traveling and his other interests include playing tennis, vintage cars and performing arts. He obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University, USA. He has been actively involved with YPO Next Generation and helped start the India Chapter, serving on its committee for several years. He is actively involved with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and is immediate past Chairman of its youth wing, Young Indians.
