Anil Antony
Anil is a graduate of Stanford University, USA and College of Engineering, Trivandrum.
He is currently the Managing Director of Pythia Data and an advisor of multiple technology startups including CasperLabs, a Silicon Valley based blockchain platform and GSTi Technologies, a cloud computing solutions provider.
He has previously worked in MNCs including Cisco Systems, Grant Thornton and Beceem Communications (A Silicon Valley based semi conductor startup acquired by Broadcom Inc).
Anil was appointed as the Convener of the Kerala chapter of the digital media cell of the Indian National Congress, chaired by Dr. Shashi Tharoor M.P early this year. His roles included setting up and managing the state war room of the party for the Parliament elections and managing Wayanad constituency social media handles and digital campaigns for the then Congress President Mr. Rahul Gandhi. He was also a member of the All India Congress Commitee’s Lok Sabha 2019 Central Election Control Room.
He is also the Vice President and trustee of Navoothan Foundation, a non-profit working for empowerment of women; and in cancer awareness and care.
His opinion columns appear frequently for several national publications including The Hindu, Hindustan Times, The Print, The week, and National Herald.
Anil had earlier been chosen as a delegate of the Indo-German Young Leaders forum Conference in Berlin in 2019; and was a participant of the Government of Japan initiated ‘JENESYS2016’ India Global Future Leaders Interaction program held across three Japanese cities in 2017.
