Gareema Prasad is a 3rd generation Australian from Darwin. After completing her studies in Dentistry and PhD in oral Cancer from the University of Melbourne, she is exploring living in Mumbai, India. She is trying to affect a change in healthcare delivery in India using the best knowledge available from Australia via University of Melbourne. To this end, she has launched two ventures IDEC-International Dental Education Center and The Dental HQ. The former is a platform to bring high end Australian training to India and the latter is to bring the best in class delivery and practices to Indian conditions. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer for the Melbourne Dental School and she is on the faculty for the Academy of Dental Excellence UK.​
