Giriraj Pai Vernekar

Giriraj Pai Vernekar serves as the State Spokesperson and Convenor of the Policy & Research Department for the BJP in Goa. He is also a core member of the party's Social Media Cell and leads efforts in reviving the BJP's social media apparatus across five states—Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala, and Puducherry—through the Shankhnaad Campaign. Professionally, he is a Director at GPZ Consulting Pvt Ltd and consults with Viacom18 and Keith Walking Floor USA on Government Alliances.

His career spans major corporations like DHL Express, The Times of India, and FedEx Express, covering various sectors including sales, marketing, strategy, public policy, and administration. In 2011, he co-founded FOGG, an NGO that played a pivotal role in the 2012 Goa State Elections by leading anti-corruption campaigns. By April 2012, he was Special Assistant to then Goa Chief Minister, Hon’ble Shri Manohar Parrikar, implementing key programs in agriculture, dairy, and other sectors.

In 2015, he moved to the Confederation of Indian Industry as a Deputy Director, later becoming a Consultant. He collaborated on projects such as defence manufacturing and regional development. By 2018, he joined Bharat Forge Ltd, overseeing public policy and corporate affairs, reporting directly to industrialist Shri Baba Kalyani.

In 2020, he returned to Goa and currently serves not only as the State Spokesperson but also is involved in the revival of the BJP's social media presence across five states—Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala, and Puducherry—as part of the Shankhnaad Campaign.
