NIKHIL KULKARNI

Nikhil is passionate about using technology to meaningfully impact people’s lives. He brings extensive technology leadership experience in high-growth technology companies across both India and Australia.

Nikhil is currently a Group Product Manager in the Central AI organisation at Atlassian based in Sydney where he leads teams that are building industry-defining AI products. Previously, at Flipkart in India, he helped build innovative products that revolutionised e-commerce logistics, benefiting thousands of small and medium businesses and enhancing the online shopping experience of millions of customers. Nikhil started his career at PlanetRead, a social enterprise dedicated to promoting literacy through the innovative use of subtitled Indian film songs on television.

Nikhil strongly believes in paying it forward and has an impactful volunteer leadership experience in the technology startup space. Nikhil was a founding volunteer and a part-time fellow at iSPIRT, a technology think tank in India focused on fostering entrepreneurship in the software product ecosystem. At iSPIRT, he devised, ran and scaled successful programs benefiting thousands of software product entrepreneurs. Nikhil was also the Program Manager and part of the core volunteer team for the NASSCOM Product Conclave, the premier event for the software product and startup community in India.

An avid quizzer, Nikhil has appeared on multiple TV quiz shows such as Mastermind and University Challenge. He enjoys puns and wordplay, having even self-published a book with a collection of puns called ‘Pun-da-mentals’!"
